WHEN SHOULD I GET MY DOG OR CAT SPAYED OR NEUTERED?
For small dogs and cats it is good to get them spayed or neutered at six months.
Large breed dogs (over 50 pounds) should be spayed or neutered at one year.

AT WHAT AGE SHOULD I BRING MY PUPPY OR KITTEN IN FOR THEIR FIRST VISIT?
Puppys should have their first vaccines at 6 weeks of age. Kittens should have their first vaccine at 8-9 weeks of age.
WHEN DO I NEED TO SWITCH MY PUPPY OR KITTEN TO ADULT FOOD?
It is good to switch your puppy or kitten to adult food at 10-12 months of age. Switching too early can cause obesity and gastrointestinal issues.
I FOUND INJURED WILDLIFE. WHAT DO I DO?
Call animal control and report the wildlife. You are encouraged to not attempt to pick up or handle any wildlife due to health risk. Remember wildlife carry many dangerous diseases such as rabies.
WHY DOES MY INDOOR CAT OR DOG NEED FLEA PREVENTION?
Although indoor cats and dogs are less likely to acquire fleas than their outdoor counterparts, it still happens commonly. Fleas can hitchhike inside on another pet or on your clothing to infest your indoor cat or dog. In order to prevent fleas from causing health problems, it is best to keep all cats and all dogs on routine flea preventive medications.
